Several on-duty Loveland Police Officers rendered honors to a passing motorcade on I25 headed to Wyoming. The motorcade contained the remains of WWII Veteran and KIA Machinist Mate First Class George Hanson. Machinist Mate Hanson was on board the USS Oklahoma on the morning of December 7, 1941. His remains were positively identified in 2018 and were being transported to Laramie, Wyoming to his final resting place. We paid our respects and are grateful to honor him on his journey home.
