Riding for a Cause

Friends and Family,

Master Sergeant Phil Metzler and Sergeant Matt Roberts will be taking part in the Police Unity Tour this year.

The purpose of the Unity Tour is to raise awareness of Law Enforcement Officers who have died in the Line of Duty; "We Ride For Those Who Died".  It is a 4-day bicycle ride where money is donated to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund (NLEOMF)

In 2002, MSgt. Phil Metzler's brother, Patrick Metzler, was killed in the Line of Duty.  MSgt. Metzler is riding to honor his brother's sacrifice.  Sgt. Metzler asked Sgt. Roberts to go with him to honor Patrick and others who have given the ultimate sacrifice.

Each member who rides raises donations and Msgt. Metzler and Sgt. Roberts are each trying to raise at least $1,800 each.

Below are the links to each of their donation pages.  Please take the time to read about the Unity Tour and if you can donate it would be greatly appreciated!
